Scaffolding On Its Way Down

It has been a monumental month for One Saint Stephens, with the removal of scaffolding and the gradual unveiling of its facade. While still very much a construction zone, and with the planting still to grow and develop, it’s certainly revealing more of its potential. The Jura limestone, in both its flat and textured forms, juxtaposes the black joinery beautifully and is complemented by black terracotta elevation tiles to the back face.

While the exterior progress is evident to all who pass by, the inside is a hive of activity with flooring being laid, walls being painted, plumbing being connected, cabinetry being fitted, natural stone benchtops going in and Gaggenau appliances being installed. More than 150 specialists are performing these, and a multitude of other tasks, to a discerning standard on-site every day.
